She Woke Up Different

She woke up different She just woke up different. Somewhere between dreaming and a conscious state of awareness she had a talk with herself or was it the God in her reminding her of who she is? She just woke up different. She woke up realizing that she is who she is by the grace of God, she realized that she doesn't have to cower in fear any longer… hmm… the fear of rejection the fear of being inadequate the fear of abandonment all gone! She just simply woke… up… different! She thought if father, mother, husband, friends’ children forsake her the Lord will never, she woke up different. Committed to her own self-care her own self love her own self-respect no longer afraid of their faces no longer afraid of them walking away no longer wondering if she did, say, looked a certain way that led to dishonor and disrespect. She woke up different. She thought, Imust cast down my own imaginations I cannot control their imaginations that's for them to do, or not, she just woke up different she woke up with the sense of enlightenment, and an epiphany and aha moment. I woke up knowing I am who I am by the grace of God knowing God is well pleased with me.
